BJMP’S BEST TOP CHOICE AWARD 2017 was an award conferred to any unit within the bureau with outstanding team achievements in the operational and administrative areas of all districts, city and municipal jails nationwide with a two-pronged tasks of safekeeping and development of inmates. This resulted to measurable improvements in the employee’s morale and engagement within and among members of the unit, superior performance, significant operational improvements, or notable innovations of its vision and mission. Through the incessant support of HON. CRISPINA R. AGCAOILI,M.D. HON. ROBERTO C. AGCAOILI, the Sangguniang Bayan Members, Punong Barangays, NGOs and NGAs of same municipality, San Mateo, Isabela Municipal Jail was adjudged as 2017 BKMP’s Best Top Choice Awardee in the National Level.For this year’s 2017 BJMP’S BEST and in connection with the 26th BJMP Anniversary with the theme: “Sustinadong Paglilinis ng Bilangguan, Tungo sa Hamong Pagbabago sa Ating Lipunan”, San Mateo Municipal Jail BJMPRO-II was awarded a PLAQUE OF MERIT as MUNICIPAL JAIL OF THE YEAR coupled with Special Financial Assistance (SFA) of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 250,000.00) for its distinguished and extraordinary achievements that made the Bureau’s TOP CHOICE for Calendar Year 2017 under the leadership of J/INSP JOSE B BANGUG JR, Municipal Jail Warden. This was held at AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on July 12, 2017, 2:30 PM with PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, as the honorable Guest.

This remarkable outstanding teamwork of BJMP San Mateo Municipal Jail served as a motivation for the sustained development of the department geared towards encouraging team growth that works well together to complete task efficiency particularly in times of difficult challenges while trying to maintain productivity.

Consistently, in the BJMP Regional Level through its outstanding accomplishments for the two (2) consecutive Quarters which immensely contributed to the fulfilment of BJMP’s mandate anchored on OPLAN RODY, San Mateo Municipal Jail was chosen by the Regional PRAISE Committee as the MOST COMPLIANT PRESENTER (WARDEN) for First Quarter 2017, BEST MUNICIPAL JAIL and BEST MUNICIPAL JAIL WARDEN for 2nd Quarter 2017 under the leadership of J/INSP JOSE B BANGUG JR, Municipal Jail Warden.
